Watford Piscators Open Day

Disabled Anglers, members of DRUM, (Disability Recreation Unity Movement), will also be present. Children, Ladies, Disabled, in fact anyone who would like to take up Angling as a hobby will be most welcome, children must be accompanied by an adult. Come and find out more about Angling and your Local Club. There will be guided tours of our Complex throughout the day. Demonstrations of fishing by Club members and Adrian from Harefield Tackle, children can try their hand at fishing the whip. Environment Agency and Angling Trust display, food and refreshments will be available. Toilet facilities are on site including a disabled toilet. There will be reduced membership for those joining Watford Piscators on the day providing you live within a 15 miles radius of the Watford Town Hall. So come along and have a good day out you will find us where Tolpits Lane joins Moor Lane by the River Colne Bridge, look for the signs.NOTE FOR OUR MEMBERS CASTLES LAKE AND THE FIRST THREE SWIMS OF THURLOWS LAKE ON THE ROADSIDE BANK WILL BE CLOSED FOR THE OPEN DAY FROM MIDNIGHT ON THE 21st AUGUST 2009 UNTIL 18:00 HOURS ON THE 22nd AUGUST 2009 ECCLES WAY WILL ALSO BE CLOSED FOR THE SAME PERIOD BRING YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS
