Tolpits Bank Closure

 IMPORTANT NOTICE TO MEMBERS

TO ALLOW THE RECENTLY RE-BUILT EBURY WAY BANK TO RECOVER; ALL SWIMS ON THE EBURY WAY BANK HAVE BEEN CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
Due to the erosion over the years of the Ebury Way bank of Tolpits Lake our Ebury Way Bank Project Team have worked extremely hard over the last few months to repair and improve this bank and its swims. We know that this will disappoint some of you but ALL of these improvements need time to settle and mature if we are to have a stable Ebury Way bank for many years to come. Regrettably there will be until further notice NO FISHING along the Ebury Way bank. Anyone found fishing in any of the swims on the Ebury Way Bank without the all clear from the GENERAL COMMITTEE, WATER MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE or the EBURY WAY BANK PROJECT TEAM will be asked to hand over their fishing permit and Key and asked to leave the Complex immediately pending a disciplinary hearing. Rest assured we will not deprive any of our members from fishing the Ebury Way Bank longer than is necessary, watch out for updates on your Web site, the Complex Notice Boards and GUZUNDER.
