Looks like it could be a warm and dry  weekend, but you should always check the weather forecast/outlook when planning your sessions so you are well prepared.

CATCH REPORT: March 2025This month the weather has improved greatly, and with this there has been some better fishing overall.

TOLPITS: Fishing reasonably well throughout the month There have been several Carp up to 35lb, including, the One Eyed Common. Plenty of Bream up to 8llb, Perch, Roach, Rudd and many other Silvers.A few Pike have also been captured on dead bait.

THURLOWS: Has been much slower with a few Carp in the upper doubles. A 28lb Common being the largest. A member caught 108lb of Bream and other Silvers on a day session, well done. Tench up to 5lb 8oz, Bream up to 7lb 4oz, several Perch caught on worms and maggots and many other Silvers. Also, a couple of Pike on lures and dead bait.

STANLEYS: Also fishing very well, with many good catches of Carp coming out up to 26lb 7oz. Plenty Bream up to 6b, a couple of Tench to 6lb. Many other Silvers and some Jack Pike.

CASTLES:  Very good fishing throughout the month Many Carp up to 12lb. Lots of Skimmers, Perch, Gudgeon, Rudd, Tench, Roach, Bream and some Crucian Carp.

RIVER:  A few small Perch on worms and maggots. Also 2 Jack Pike on Lures.The river is now closed until the 16th of June.Please remember to forward me any pictures of your recent catches with weights and the lake caught on.
