October 30, 2020
This to remind you that as a Society we can no longer fish this lake from mid-night Saturday 31st October.
From Saturday 30th October swims 3,4&5 only, are available for night fishing. Maximum stay 48 hours per session. This to enable other members to use these swims. Note these swims are not exclusive to night fishing, any member can fish these swims if they are empty. This decision has been made by the Committee to compensate, in part, for the loss of Broadacres and also as a Cormorant deterent.
Championship Match on Tolpits Lake Sunday 1st November. Fishing on Tolpits to cease at mid-night Saturday 31st October. General fishing on Tolpits to start from 14:00 or after the Match a has completed. In the past at the discretion of our Scalesman general fishing could take place after the match lake peg draw. Recent match rules from the Angling Trust in agreement with the Government, states water designated for a specific competition can only be fished by those fishing the competition and can only be general fished after the Match is completed.
