Hello Each,

WEATHER: Things seem to have calmed down after the storm through the weekend. Still a bit of rain in the forecast over the next week with drier weather outlooked from Sunday. Remember, forecasts change frequently. Always check  the local weather outlook before any planned fishing sessions so you are well prepared.

OUTLOOK: Wednesday,  7°/5°, cloudy, Thursday, 8°/5°, drizzle, Friday, 6°/3°, cloudy, Saturday, 7°/1°, drizzle, Sunday, 7°/3°, sunny intervals,  Monday, 9°/5°, sunny intervals, Tuesday, 8°/4°, sunny intervals.

FRONT GATES:Work has just begun on the front gates and due recent weather has been delayed. As you enter/exit the front gates you will see some boards on  Each side of the road way by the gates. Please DO NOT move these boards as they are covering deep holes. Please enter and leave Our Complex with extra care over the next few days.

CATCH REPORT: November 2024

TOLPITS: Not too many anglers have been on the bank due too bad weather conditions. Those who have made the attempt have caught Carp up to 30lb. Several Bream, Roach, Sivers and Perch up to 3lb. A member also caught a 18lb Pike on dead bait.

CASTLES: It has been a very bad month with the weather being up and down. Despite this there have been several Carp up to 11lb, A few small Tench, lots of Bream, Perch, Rudd, Gudgeon and skimmers.

THURLOWS: Has been fishing steady, with several Pike up to 11lb caught on dead bait and lures. Some good-sized Perch over 1.5lb. Bream up to 5lb, and several Carp in the upper doubles with the largest being 24lb.

RIVER:  The water levels have been very high with the rain. There are no reports of any fish captures.

STANLEYS: Also still fishing steady considering the weather. A member caught 5 Pike up to 11lb on dead bait. There have been several catches of Carp up to 16lb, Lots of Bream to 5lb, Perch to 1lb, Roach, and lots of skimmers.Please remember to forward me any pictures of your recent catches with weights and the lake caught on. CHECK -  CLEAN -  DRY:PLEASE NOTE: Where ever you decide to fish, especially on Our Complex, make sure you Dip all Nets, Slings, Mats and Cradles before you fish and again if you change Lakes before you fish and  always make sure you carry with you and use, Hand Sanitizer to protect yourself.

NOTE: YOU don't have to be a regular match fisher to take part, you can choose one or as many matches as you want to take part in. Who knows you might enjoy the experience and become a regular Match Fisher! Why not give it a try!

WORK PARTIES: There are jobs to suit all and Your help will make Our Complex even better. WATER MANAGEMENT:Should any member have access to used scaffold poles that can be used for repairs around Our Complex please contact,  Ron, your Water Management Chairman, 07445 975001, it will be greatly appreciated.

WATER MANGEMENT COMMITTEE VOLUNTEERS: We are looking for Members to volunteer as a Member of our Water Management team. If you feel you can help and would like more information, please contact: Ron Westwood, 07445 975 001. GUEST PERMITS: Guest Permits, as well as from Harefield Tackle, Guest Permits can be purchased from Your Water Management Chairman, Ron Westwood, Mobile: 07445 975001. Please note as per Rule: 13.1 A Guest Permit must be obtained before entering the societies fisheries. Day Permit  £10.  24 hour Permit , £25 and 48 hour Permit, £45,  for Tolpits, Thurlows and Stanleys, Permits are available, from the 1st November - 14th March inclusive each season. Available to Senior Members only,  minimum 18 years old, the guest shall share  the same swim or be in an adjacent swim to the member. See Rule 13 to 13.3 in your Rule Book for full details.
