Hello Each,

Looks like a warm dry week ahead, make sure you have, sun block, fluids and a trusty hat for your sessions on Our Waters.

CATCH REPORT: August 2023

TOLPITS: Has been fishing reasonably well. There have been several Carp up to 35lb. Many named Carp including: One Eyed Common, Oscars Fully, Baby Red Cheeks, Scrappy, Two Tone Common and Herbie. One member landed 8 Carp over 4 days. Several other Carp in the upper doubles have also been out. Many Bream up to 8lb. Also several Tench up to 8lb, Perch, Roach, Rudd and plenty of other silvers.

THURLOWS: Fishing very steady throughout the month with several Carp up to 32lb. Tench up to 6lb, Bream up to 9lb, many perch caught on worms and maggots and many other silver fish caught.

CASTLES: Many Carp up to 11lb. Lots of skimmers, Perch, Gudgeon, Rudd, Roach, Bream and several Crucian Carp.

STANLEYS: Fishing extremely well, with many good catches of Carp coming out up to 25lb. Plenty of Bream to 5lb, some Tench and lots of Perch and other silvers. A member that fished on swim 14 on a day session, managed to catch 11 Carp up to 13lb and 22 Bream up to 2lb.RIVER: Many small Perch caught on drop shot, lobworms and maggots. Also several small Pike have been captured on soft lures.
