Polite notice: consideration to other anglers and facilities

To all members.

Toilet blocks

The toilets on the complex are for the use of all members and should be used as you would use at home. Please ensure when you use them that they are left as you would wish to find them. Failure to do this could result in the facility being closed and nobody wants that to happen.

Language on the complex

We have also had a complaint that some members of the club have had their enjoyment of fishing spoilt by some members who think it is ok to shout from one swim to another.

Also they think it is ok to use foul language when doing so. This is not a gentlemanly thing to do. There may be young members fishing and this is not what they should be hearing from senior members of this club. Sound carries across water and I would ask members to regulate their language when fishing and desist from this practice.

As in all these kinds of situations, this is the minority spoiling it for the majority so please be vigilant and report anything to the committee by using the contact page on our website
