You may have already seen some of the below but it's being repeated as some of our members are not adhering to the Rules that have been put into place to protect all fishing our Complex.
To date it has been noticed that some of our members are NOT adhering to this Rule. We are being monitored on a regular basis by the EA and Local Council to ensure we are adhering to the Government Guidelines and there is the real risk of our Complex being closed down and who knows, for longer than we have been already.
Two local fisheries which opened last Wednesday were closed down until the weekend because of this. If you do not adhere to this rule, you will be asked to leave the Complex, your key and permit confiscated pending a disciplinary hearing.
Remember, once you have selected your swim, you stay there and only move from your swim to visit the toilet or when you have packed up to move off the Complex. This includes, NO STALKING AND NO WALKING AROUND THE LAKES.
Due to the high demand for night fishing spots on Thurlows and Tolpits, from Wednesday 20th May, a maximum stay of 48 hours on the Complex will come into force for night fishing, with no return for night fishing for a further 48 hours. This will allow other members to night fish. We will review this decision after the government takes the country into phase 2 scheduled to further relax movement and activity.
THERE IS NO GENERAL MEMBERS PARKING ALLOWED ON ECCLES WAY! PARKING HERE IS FOR DISABLED MEMBERS ONLY! If you are not a disabled member you will be asked to move your vehicle.
Lighting in our toilets are solar powered. If you switch on the lights when entering please ensure you switch them off when leaving.
We are in this together and together we must make this work or we will lose our right to fish again and we are sure that none of us want that!
Enjoy Your Fishing
