UPDATED: Tolpits closed until further notice

*** UPDATE 17th August 2017 ***

We are pleased to announce that Tolpits will be open on Midnight Thursday (17th August) night, to ensure that the gill fluke has completely been eliminated we have salt spray bottles dotted around the lake please apply one spray in each gill of the carp as and when they're caught please be careful when opening up there gills as this is a very delicate part of them.

Tolpits will be closed until further notice while we investigate why a number of carp have sadly died. The EA will be visiting tomorrow and our fishery advisor will be attending on Saturday.

We currently have airators running at both ends of the lake and one person on site to monitor everything that's happening.

We'll keep members posted as and when information becomes available.
